Teaching French in primary schools
as part of the curriculum KS2 (PPA cover).
In Primary Schools, children are taught French from Year 3/4 to Year 6.
Focus for learning is on practical communication, with a strong emphasis on speaking and listening.
Teaching is in line with the recommendations of the National Curriculum, with modifications in place which allow for the individual and differentiated needs of the children.
KS2 children have a regular weekly lesson of French, in order to ensure progression and skills development.
MY PHILOSOPHY
Teaching is not only sharing knowledge. It is most important to be able to help your students to learn.
My personal philosophy is to create a positive and friendly learning environment reducing stress, improving your well-being which lead to a better personal involvement, a better learning.
Certified in Psychology in Education ("La Psychologie pour les enseignants"), I have developed knowledge in memory, behaviour, motivation and metacognition to engage in an active and reflective approach, and to consider the practical application of these knowledges.

We have been working in nurseries and primary schools since 2006 in Bracknell Forest, Wokingham.
